This sling has a finished edge. We offer the same sling with rustic edges if a finished edge is not important to you and if you want to save some money. Our Model FR has the rustic edge.
NOTE ABOUT OUR SWIVELS: The nut is free spinning, which means that when the nut is tightened to close it, the nut will spin freely until positively engaged. In other words, the nut is not supposed to tighten down. That is an intentional product design to help prevent accidental opening.

The slider buckle sling is the best I've used for hunting. I bought a black one for my .30-06 two years ago, and whrn I bought my .375H&H I immediately ordered a brown one.
